Objection from Registry
You trademark application passes through several stages. At the first stage, it is examined by the Trademark Registry for any errors and to ensure that it is confirming to the Trade Marks Act and its Rules.
Upon review, an examination report is issued with the comments/ objections of the examiner. If there is no objection, it is passed for publication in the Trademark Journal. However, in the case of an objection, you are provided a period of 30 days, from the date of receipt of the examination report, to remove such objection or submit your reply as to why the application should be passed to next stage. Failure to reply may result in the application being marked as abandoned.

Opposition
Once the application is published in the Trademark Journal, after the registrar has approved the trademark application, any person can oppose the registration of the published trademark in accordance with the Trade Marks Act, within a period of 3 months (extendable by 1 month) from the day it was first published.
If the mark is opposed, an opposition proceeding is initiated, where we need to file our reply to the opposition, file evidences, appear for hearing and defend out trademark.
